Obsidian skies

Two souls on earth, which will never entwine
Under a banner of endless time
Each second that passes is another move nearer
And as the storm passes the skies become clearer
The Obsidian skies above me
Their clouds forming an image of my fantasy
And as the sun falls beyond the stars, like a shadow of rust
I realize that a passion is growing an eternal lust
The Obsidian skies rage the colour of a dark glassy volcanic rock
And I feel my soul enter it's shell with such a shock
Silhouettes of my dreams, cast shadows over the meadow
And as the sun sets and the moon rises from its sleepy hollow
An artists easel splashes across the obsidian skies
and as my heart grow heavy, i dream, and close my eyes.
