Musings by The Poet Loriet
Insignificant
Right or wrong,
I gave my self to him.
I've never felt so cheap
as when he told me
I meant nothing to him,
buyer beware.
He said,
"You know what I think,
when I hear your voice,
see your face,
think about you?"
I waited for him
to say something,
anything of worth,
and he said,
"I think ~wow~ I'm so glad
that I didn't give her herpes."
Thanks for being so concerned
with my sexual health,
for letting me know
what a mistake I was,
how insignificant I am.
Really, I'm touched.
