I'm just another faceless
statistic, a number...
marriages that end in divorce,
single mothers,
percentage of women
suffering from depression,
women who cheat,
women who drink wine
in the early afternoon,
abuser of sleeping pills,
eats blue popsicles,
likes Wal*Mart specials,
bird-watcher,
wears Granny panties,
cries at sad movies,
reads horoscopes,
and ends up six feet under
a cold hard ground
when my heart stops
b e a t i n g
like every other
Tom, Joe and Harry.
