No more secrets and encounters in the park
Those were lazy and early days of Spring
When we thought we had it all
What happened to those early days of Spring?
Days filled of leisure and happiness
You and I in what it seemed an endless carousel
Days filled of so much laugher and sunny bless
No more holding your excited shaky hands
Walking and talking sweet-nothings you and I
No more secrets to be told and to share
There won't be any more magical Springs just like that
No more the sweet and sudden tender embrace
No more all that passion that consumed the mind and soul
Spring is gone Summer has come and also left
I am here now bared and cold, without you facing all the cold days of fall
