What a foolish thing
It's for us sometimes, to say
When I get the time
I'll do this and that.
When I get the time
I'll remember to make that call
That I have had never made,
And I'll pay all those overdue bills,
That for weeks and months,I haven't paid.
When I get the time
I'll read all those precious books,
Gathering dust in my many shelves
And one day, I just know, one by one
I shall read them all.
One of these days, for Pete's sake!
I shall begin to read God's words
Tomorrow sounds, just like a good day,
I guess I'll do it as soon as possible
When,when I get the time.
I shall answer each and all of the letters,
Piled up and waiting in a box,
For days,weeks, months and years,
And I haven't make the time, to send them back.
I'll take a little rest here and there
And I'll stop to smell for a change the roses,
I'll sit back and relax and only...dream
And won't fret, with all the things that I haven't done.
I'll spend a little more time with my family,
And those friends that I still have left,
I'll watch the sunrise go up and the sunset again go down,
I'll do all the things and much more, I guess,
One day (sometimes) when I make the ...TIME
