My darling children

My darling children
(I miss you)

You are all my darling children…
Your love still mine to hold.
Your smile forever with me…
Such sweet things… I’ve seen unfold.
Your words still echo loudly…
Your kiss I treasure most.
Your warmth as you held me…
Of all this… I can boast.

But I miss you every moment…
Your love is all I hold.
Your smile just a memory,
On the days that feel so cold.
Your words now only haunt me…
Your kiss, just a dream.
I miss you my darling children,
For all that missing means.
