Ronald (He Who)
Be he who will stand
beside me through
thick and thin
Not he who will stand
by and judge me
for there will be time
when I'll face a
trial and a jury
Be he who will pick
me up when I fall
carry me across that threshold
lending me a helping hand not your
doubts and reprimands.
Be he who will support me
not belittle or degrade me
Be he who loves me like
a friend knows how
not caring what love looks like
or appears to be
Be he who doesn't use
his tongue to lash out at me
Be he who will be
there for me
he who understands
that I am not by far naive
Be he who knows that lovers
come and go
but friends remain
helping each other to prosper and grow
Be he who will stand beside me
through thick and thin
Be he who doesn't judge
a book by its cover
don't be the last two words after
every story whether good or bad
be he who doesn't say
"THE END"
