Just Words
My feet
My feet in my shoes,
that only I wear.
My life, and my burdens,
that only I bear.
Who will share with me,
in my times full of grief?
In my lonely hours,
when life leaves me with
this weight on my feet.
I search for a place,
for my feelings to hide.
When I look in your face,
and tears fall out my eyes.
Im doubting the wise,
who claim men never cry.
Well I'm weak, and I'm cryin,
probably better off dyin.
Because the pain in my feet
is too much to go on.
I carry my burden,
and I carry yours too.
I'm doing my part,
now what will you do?
that only I wear.
My life, and my burdens,
that only I bear.
Who will share with me,
in my times full of grief?
In my lonely hours,
when life leaves me with
this weight on my feet.
I search for a place,
for my feelings to hide.
When I look in your face,
and tears fall out my eyes.
Im doubting the wise,
who claim men never cry.
Well I'm weak, and I'm cryin,
probably better off dyin.
Because the pain in my feet
is too much to go on.
I carry my burden,
and I carry yours too.
I'm doing my part,
now what will you do?
