 Julias' Poetry from the Heart

Serenity Lost

They stand in silence
A group of two or three
Watching in anticipation,
As the trees rustle behind them
Their innocent gaze is disturbed
They move forward
To feed their curiosity,
The water gently flows
And becons them to stay
While the music of the trees
Encourages them to rest,
They move slowly forward
For they do not see the danger
Which greets them
As they search for the adventure
Which lurks beyond the trees
