Poetic Verses

Thine Eyes

In thine eyes I see the depth of mine own,
to deep inside my deepest soul and heart,
as mirrors that see past my flesh and bone
the never ending place that is our start
Desire deep, thou sees, within mine eyes
A fire burning deep from heart to soul
This secret place where passion deeply lies,
indeed, connection that will make me whole
O' fickle is the time we spend in wait,
o' temperament to be ruled by the moon;
but in thine eyes, o' promise of my fate,
thy love be told by a sign all too soon
In mine eyes, for thee, my pure love doth shine
Sight of the heart, do thine eyes mirror mine
