Tropical Dreams

I lay on the white sandy beach,
my toes playfully digging.
The crashing turquoise water
beats rhythms against the shore.
The sun scorches my fresh skin leaving its traces.
Children laughter rings out from the sand,
screeching as waves tickle their tiny toes,
and swallow their mighty castles.
Palm trees sway gently,
their leaves rustle a tropical song.
Clouds plump in the pure blue sky,
dancing with the wind.
Boats bob on the uneven water,
rocking with the rhythm.
Such a peaceful perfect day.
