Psalm 13

How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord?
Have I not abided everyday in your word?
How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Open the eyes of my heart so I can see;
How long shall I take counsel in my soul?
For I have given my life for you to control;
Why must I be sad in my heart every day?
I ask for your comfort every time I pray;
How long shall my enemy exalted over me?
I beg upon thee to please hear my plea;
Consider and hear me my God O Lord,
Your recognition of me is my reward;
Lighten my eyes to sleep until death,
Let me breathe O God my last breath;
My enemy says I prevailed against him,
And stating that his future is very grim;
But my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation,
And you've taken away thy temptation;
I will sing unto the Lord being good to me,
For you have made me happy with glee.
