Blessed is who doesn't walk with the evil,
For they will not be swayed by the devil;
Nor blocks the way of sinners or the obscene,
For they'd keep you from a life of serene;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And always reads and abides in His Word;
And his law doth he meditate day and night,
For praying gives him the strength and might;
Like a tree planted by rivers of waters,
Bring forth his fruit to sons and daughters;
His leaf also shall not wither rather thrive,
Improvements he will always look to strive;
Evil is not so but chaff that the wind lifts,
Flows as the wind carries in air and drifts;
For the wicked shall not stand in opinion,
For they do not belong in the same dominion;
Nor sinners in the congregation whose right,
For they'll not have yet have seen the light;
But the way of the ungodly shall perish,
And are the ones that God can not cherish.
