In response to your e-mail,
I thought I'd reply and say;
Tis great you'll give them a smiley face…
I'm sure it will make their day!
No matter it's their job or not,
It really is important, you know,
To give recognition for doing a deed,
As it should be so!
Some people go through life…
Not caring about the job they do,
Others like Ian and Jimmy…
Well, their honesty shines on through!
I believe in giving praise,
When I believe its due,
That's why I wrote the poem,
And why I sent it to you!
I wasn't sure if you'd give my thanks,
Because I realize not all do,
But there I have it, in black and white,
So this is a thank you from me to you!
You see this is what I'm like,
When the need arises to give praise,
There I am with a poem…
Oh, but did you give those lads a raise?
Joking all apart now,
The drive is as it should be,
All tucked up nice and neat,
And no more an eyesore to see!
