This Place In My Life

In this place in my life where dreams are still,
as time changes like a clock unwound,
the yesterdays were minutes fast sped by
of times that memory could not erase
In tortured heart aches and day dreams so fair
the tide has turned and come around again
Are these, but, wishes or unfinished dreams
that beg my heart for time to fulfill
In minutes that pass me from day to day
the seconds eat away, now, at my life
in increments fleetingly hard to hold
Where is the time to, but, dream once again
in the pace of time ticking by my life
In this place in my life, time should fulfill
