Praise the Lord for all that He has done,
Thank Him for giving us His only son;
For hanging and bleeding on that tree,
Because of sins committed by you and me;
Watching over a bunch of misguided souls,
That seem to be never under any controls;
Causing very much hate and discontent,
Creating for many others with torment;
Why did God put up with such a mess,
I'm not sure for it's anyone's guess;
But looking at John 3:16 in the Bible,
Could be something really valuable;
It states that God so loved the world,
He ensured that his plan was unfurled;
That he gave his only begotten son,
Ensuring that it was not left undone;
Our Heavenly Father cares about us,
To ease our burden and our stress;
All he asks in Him that we believe,
Everlasting life for us we achieve.
