Not Forgotten
Your message was not lost
at least not with me
want you to know I still cherish you
your memory has not been forgotten
you cleaned me up, made me feel good
about myself for the first time in my life
how could I ever repay you?
by living my life and doing what is in my heart
my mentor, my teacher who helped me reach my potential
I have not forgotten your hopes for me
have kept alive my dreams, not forgotten your fighting spirit
it lives on in me
because that is what you left me....
