A smile received not seen
A thought on a phone not seen
The icing on a cake for you
From someone who cares what you do
A moment or an hour
spent in quite reminisce
Old stories upon lips
or a tale from a kiss
A laugh with no mirth
yet the brunt was once you
But always between friends
the stories can be true
Never judge an able road
of which we all have gone down
Only a hand held to steady
and wipe the tears to the ground
Someone to speak with
in times of great need
A friend is like family
only they are chosen to be.
