There was a time when my mother said,
Always remember to use your head;
God gave each one of us with a talent,
And we're to use it fashionably gallant;
She told me to use my gift very wisely,
And never do anything that's foolishly;
Always remember to read God's word,
Never spread rumors you have heard;
Give your decisions plenty of thought,
Remember all that you've been taught;
But most of all because you are a guy,
Be careful with that thing by your thigh;
There are women that will make trouble,
If your life is controlled by that stubble;
They will rob you and give a disease,
That will require a doctor's expertise;
Find a woman that is true to her heart,
Not just someone that is a work of art;
Always make the Bible be your guide,
And remember that God's on your side.
