G*eorge A. Custer was a United States Officer and Calvary Commander in the American Civil War and the Indian Wars and in the
E*nd he distinguished himself for his bravery in many important battles and
O*n 1866 Custer joined the Calvary in Kansas and gained a lot of
R*espect and develoved quite a very strong reputation all during the Civil War and also
G*ained a lot of success as a highly Calvary Commander during the Civil War that he was
E*ventually promoted to Captain of the U.S. Army (1864) and Major General in 1865 at the tender age of 25.
A*rmstrong, Custer George was born Dec. 05.1835 in New Rumley, Ohio.

U*nder the care of his half-sister and brother-in-law, in Monroe High, Michigan and after
S*chool, he attended the McNeely Normal School and
Then worked in many odd jobs to help himself pay his way out in life and eventually he
E*arned a teaching certificate and then he enrolled for his role in the West Point Army Academy.After the Civil War he was reverted permantedly with the
R*ank of Liutenant Colonel with the U.S. 7th Calvary Regiment, in July, 1866.He was dispatched to the West in 1867 to fight the American Indian Wars.In June 25,1876, while heading the 7th at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in Montana against a coalition of native American tribes, he and all of his batallion which included two of his brothers were killed.The battle is popularity known today in American History as "Custer's Last Stand."
