~A Glimpse Into The Past~
(Free Verse)
Chances now to spend a time
Here remembering the old days
Travels to the attic and back
Where again,I can see old friends.
Photographs almost fading
Olden letters tattered by many tears
Precious moments flashing by
Forever treasures in my heart.
Waiting often for this moment
With gladness, and heavy heart
Keeping all these memories
Remembering the good old days.
Boxes wrapped with satin, pink ribbons
Where I store always all my keepsakes,
A glimpse into the past
Every time I open all my heart!
