Musings by The Poet Loriet
Distinguishing Right from Left
I thought I'd found the RIGHT man,
agape love and not just eros,
but once again another had
gotten there first,
chewing up his heart and
spitting it out vs swallowing,
leaving me with the LEFTovers,
a Vietnamese delicacy,
bird's head soup...
I swallowed my pride and
drank of him pretending
to douse him in fine cream
then sauntered away with
my best alley-cat strut.
Meoowwwww~purrrr~puurrrrr.
