So vulnerable to the insensitivities of the world
So protective of what little space you desire
So filled with love for those whom you care
So filled with your sense of what is right
Surrounded by many who are stumbling
And rocking your so-desired inner peace.
Hold on tight, tender-hearted little spirit.
Hold on to the Truths you know so well
Hold on to the Light that shines within
Hold on to the Love of those who really care
Fear not the friendship I desire to share.
I know it's really hard to perceive the joy
That will be coming your way some day.
And I know it's hard for you to stay.
Please know that the One
Who loves you the most
Has great rewards in store.
Please keep your focus there.
Don't let the messes
of others around you
confound you.
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all else
