Honor Thy Mother and Father
Honor thy mother and father,
Some would say ,"Why bother"?
They just scold and scream
Like a nightmarish dream.
Forever complaining, even today..
Never hearing a word that I say.
Yet ,I will Honor my father and mother .
Honor thy father and mother.
Gosh, Even love my brother?
After all he's put me through
This is all too hard to do!
Yet, I will honor my father and mother.
Honor thy father and mother.
You will never have any other.
Our gracious Lord has commanded this .
His promise of Heaven,I can't resist.
Yes! I shall honor my father and mother.
