Most merciful God and Lord Divine,
Thank you for the morning sunshine;
A blessing knowing you kept us secure,
Rejuvenation of our bodies you ensure;
Please protect us through a new week,
Help us to prosper in all that we seek;
May we be aware of your loving presence,
That our purpose in life is of the essence;
Help us make proper decisions in every task,
And always remember when in prayer to ask;
Please help keep us from sin and from evil,
Renew our spirit to spread wings as an eagle;
We confess that your son's Savior and Lord,
As written in Scriptures of Thy Holy Word;
We look to you Lord for your love and power,
Because we know that we need you every hour;
Enrich our lives O Lord in helping others,
Protect our parents, sisters and brothers;
Please help us never to anger or go astray,
It's in your Son Jesus Christ I pray. Amen
