Leaves Are Falling

Amidst dusk nightfall I walk gallivant for the hour,
So I may devour another sundown of morrow envision.
My mission distant for now, today's labor is fulfilled.
Encountering but with a leaf, whom chance upon-
That murky stream- carrying, too, spiritless and expired dandelions away.
Disturbed by such descend, I inspect the dingy skies,
Unmasked this reality: that the cozy autumn is now near.
