Dear Lord and Heavenly Father,
We thank you for helping further;
All for today that had to be done,
And to be home by the setting sun;
We live by faith in You our Lord,
Your deeds can never be ignored;
For being there all the time for me,
No matter where I might have to be;
Your son for our sins who died to atone,
With your love for us has really shown;
Then raising Jesus from the grave,
To ensure that all of us be saved;
So I ask of forgiveness as I repent,
Because of knowing what you meant;
For Jesus sake please hear our prayer,
For us and others that are in despair;
May your blessings provide console,
Our life we commit to your control;
Protect us as the dawning brings anew,
For it's in Jesus name we pray through. Amen.
