You are a great and awesome God O Lord,
Who keeps his covenant of love restored;
To all who love and obey His commands,
He helps your needs since He understands;
But we have sinned and been such amiss,
There are so many errors and faults exist;
We have been wicked and have rebelled,
From our lips the truth has been withheld;
We have turned away from God's laws,
And have looked towards other flaws;
We haven't listened to heed your warning,
And not prayed at night or in the morning;
We have ignored what the prophets said,
What's in store for the future we dread;
We have not sought favor turning from sin,
Our hearts have not allowed you within;
All is not lost for all the times we stray,
We just need to kneel down and pray;
Ask the Lord to have mercy on your soul,
Repent asking forgiveness is your goal.
