 DANTE (Free Verse)

dante photo: Dante Alighieri Dante.jpg

~Dante~
(Free Verse)

Colored glasses, springing light
Tulips blooming very bright,
Beckoning, glorious beauty
As you smile at me so glad

Blessed grace by the Most High
Zaphyr flowers, opened wide,
Callas lilies graciously stood by,
As zealous Dante, rhymed his lines

Skilled artist,painting crowds,
Strokes covering the blue skies,
Dogwood, juniper and hemlock rose
Showing nature's radiance, in all its best

Petals ripening, aired and fair,
Sunny gates facing fiery sun and also winds,
Rocking swings to and fro,
From the strongest chestnuts trees.
