I FELT YOUR SHAME
Jesus said my child of sorrow's woe
I came to feel your incumbered shame
though judged unfairly of crime
I was placed in shackeled chains.
Each time I felt pain I remembered
my promise to conform to your dust
and how I was to humble to weakness
humanly taking infirmities rust.
And through blood sweated tears I
watched my Father look at me as lost
for the very first time He turned away
you see, I took your guilted cross.
Then looking into Heaven's portals
I cried It's finished let my spirit soar
for I have grafted you in and have
iltimately opened my Father's door.
