Humbled But Holy
Humbly Jesus came into this world
though He was truly the Holy one
making this mark upon history
showing a dying world God's son.
He grew in this world's poverty
but was considered heaven's royalty
He knew that He was destined to show
God's greatest loyalty.
Healing the sick that came
for his compassion was great
He loved all He touched though
this world was filled with hate.
Even as He hung on that cruel cross
his love blotted out our disgrace
for this purpose He came to
save the whole human race.
