Out of the depths have I cried unto thee,
Crying out for my Lord to hear my plea;
Hear my voice O Lord as I continue to pray,
Let your ears be heard what I have to say;
My supplications for your mercy contend,
If you mark iniquities who shall defend?
But there is forgiveness with you O Lord,
That you may be feared as well as adored;
I wait for the Lord and my soul does wait,
And in His word do I hope as I seek my fate;
My soul waits for the Lord for some warning,
More than others that watch for the morning
More than they that watch for the dawn,
When dark gives way to light and is gone;
Let Israel hope in the Lord to bring anew,
A brighter future with a clearer view;
With the Lord there is mercy and compassion,
For our sins He has plenteous redemption;
He shall redeem Israel from all iniquities,
Ensuring a reward to those with loyalties.
