Fade Away

In your eyes I find myself less than nothing A mere image in your path to self discovery But not just you, but the whole world it seems Knows nothing of me or what I believe I'm not sure if I care to be known Or whether I prefer to be just left alone Would you notice if I left this place Would you grimace if I faded away Would you weep and leave teardrops on our memories Or would you even anowledge you heard my silent plea Here I find myself no longer in your sight But rather in darkness hidden from light Where no eyes may fall upon my face Where no memories will ever be made You never saw me for what I was You never knew me and thats because You never looked beyond my surface Because to you there was no purpuse No attachment was ever made that withstood The pain I had inside that was never understood How could I ever expect all things fall in place Or ever think for a second I wasnt born to fade away
