You're Breaking My HeartYou're Breaking my Heart Where is the angel I love? The one I shared my heart, And soul laughter's and tears A love so true sent from above! You asked me to never hurt you That your heart was fragile too Like mine had been shattered, Broken and left bewildered I held my promise sacred No matter the distance! My love had wings to fly Day or night always near by, In thoughts in time spent Listening to your dreams, Passions time I so treasured No place on earth I'd rather, Have been with you together Heart to heart soul to soul, Your very best friend afar or close Now I'm here wondering, You seem to be distancing? Avoiding me never answering When I try to get close, To talk or share moments So precious and few! Where is my angel of love? The kind and gentle as a dove Who wasn't ashamed to cry To show the heavenly love, God seeded in his heart I'm wondering with tears On my face did you fly away? Without me no consideration For my emotions or feelings, Leaving me at heaven's door! Alone feeling lost no one to hold Was this a mist or a dream? Come true but never real Only you know the answer it seems, Keep in mind my love for you so deep As I told you from the start Be gentle with my heart! Remember once in a lifetime One comes along so true, A gift divine to be treasured Not broken and shattered! God gives but also takes When it's taken for granted, Together no mountain We can't climb and move, If we wish upon the same star Wishes do come true! And prayers are answered too And miracles happens to lovers, With two hearts believing as one Faithful and true to the one they love.
