Merciful Almighty and Heavenly Father,
There is nothing else that I'd do rather;
Than praising you my dearest Lord,
And the scriptures with your Word;
Every good gift always comes from you,
Knowing that every promise is held true;
You have heard and answered every prayer,
With all your judgments always being fair;
In Jesus you forgave us of all our sins,
Always turning our frowns into grins;
Give me strength and purpose in these days,
As I journey through life through this maze;
With the Holy Spirit please give me power,
For I your help through each day's hour;
Open up new opportunities and possibilities,
But not forget duties and responsibilities;
Giving my love and service to those in need,
And look for warnings requiring me to heed;
As witness to salvation ensuring that I say,
Of your Son Jesus whose name I pray. Amen
