Lord if I am to speak words
May they be always to bless others?
Or give me the wisdom to remain speechless
Grant me with your gift of love and tenderness!
To be kind as a dove, and gentle, and humble in spirit
When I share your words that they may shed light,
Filled with compassion and hope to uplift
Your divine kingdom your Holy name!
No other motive not for fame
I am but a mere human in need of your amazing Grace,
In a world filled with gloom and pain.
So many questions so much to understand and explain?
Only you Lord can give revelations knowledge!
Touch the heart way down deep when all else has failed.
When so many are lost living on the edge,
Confusion brokenness, heartache, sorrows all around.
When love just seems to have disappeared faded in time
You Lord are always true you alone forever faithful do remain!
Keep my eyes, and mouth, my words and body,
Heart soul, spirit and mind
Holy spirit filled so I may,
Shed your light joy and love divine.
