Genesis 1
God created the heaven and the earth,
Causing life to come with new birth;
The earth was without form, and void,
This was not something that God enjoyed;
Darkness was upon the face of the deep,
Thinking of what this could truly reap;
God moved upon the watery substance,
Thinking of how to form in essence;
God said, “Let there be light and it was,
And God saw the light that it had no flaws;
And God divided the light from the dark,
This was really something to hit the mark;
God called the dark as Night and light Day,
It made God well pleased about the display;
God said, Let there be division of waters,
God thought of how to make the borders;
And God said, “Let the dry land appear,
And it was so as it provided a new frontier;
God called the land Earth and waters as Sea,
And God saw that it was good for to see.
God said, Let the earth bring vegetation,
And the fruit tree started fruit formation,
And the earth brought forth grass, and herb,
And God saw that it was good being superb;
God said on the morning of the third light.
Let the lights divide the day from the night;
Let them be signs, seasons, days, and years,
And let them give light upon the frontiers;
And God made the greater light rule the day,
The lesser light rule when the day went away;
God set them to give light upon the earth,
To rule over the world only half the girth;
To divide the light by half from darkness,
God saw that it was good with its greatness;
Let the waters bring many living creatures,
Fowl that fly up above with winged features;
God created all living creatures in the seas,
Every winged fowl flying and rest in trees;
God saw that it was good and great indeed,
God blessed them saying Be fruitful to breed.
God said bring forth all living creatures,
Creeping things with different features;
And God made beasts and cattle of all kind,
And everything that creep with its own mind;
And God saw that it was good and then said,
Let us make man in our image as the head;
Let him rule fish in sea and fowl in air,
And over all creeping things to take care;
So God created an image both male and female,
And God blessed them and said to prevail;
Be fruitful and replenish earth to suppress,
Every living thing that moves possess;
And God said giving every herb bearing seed,
Which is upon the earth for you to feed;
Every tree is yielding the fruit to eat,
And every beast of the earth to use as meat;
Every fowl of the air and creeps on earth,
Where life as to be fruitful and give birth;
I have given every green herb and understood,
And God saw all that he made was very good.
