The Prodigal Son

Luke 15

There was a man that had two boys,
That was actually his pride and joys;
The father saved some inheritance cash,
One of the sons asked for half of the stash;
Rather than waiting until Dad was dead,
The younger son wanted it now instead;
So Pop went ahead and gave him half,
The son was so happy he started to laugh;
Soon the kid took off for uncharted lands,
To see greener pastures and whiter sands;
He went around chasing after wild ladies,
And driving around in a nice new Mercedes;
But before long all the money was gone,
Because all the ladies used him for a pawn;
He went and crawled back to his Dad,
To let him know how he was so bad;
But pop was so glad to see him again,
And toasted the return with champagne;
This really made the older son so upset,
But Dad said your brother paid his debt.
