Throughout our lives there are troubles,
And we stumble along the way,
Sometimes the stairs are too steep,
And we let things get in the way.
They say we can't see the woods for the trees,
And this is oh, so true,
But when we see that clearing,
We know just what to do!
We let got the past and its troubles,
And face a brand new day,
Face it head on, and that's when we've won,
And everything will be okay.
We take one stair at a time,
And listen to our heart,
Close our ears to all around,
And make that brand new start.
If something's worth having it's worth…
All the struggle, strife and pain,
For at the end of the stairway,
We have everything to gain!
So listen to your hearts,
And don't let anything get in the way,
Only you walk those shoes you wear…
And only you can say…
‘This is our life not others,'
‘And we know just what we feel,'
‘An abundance of love that's been hidden,'
‘But an abundance of love is what we feel!
So as you walk that stairway to happiness,
Don't look back over your shoulder,
Only look to the future bright,
And your love will become stronger and bolder!
Do what you have to do,
And don't let anything divide what you feel,
For what you have is special to you,
What you have is real!
Only you know the love you have…
Only you know what's right for you,
Only you know what's in your heart,
Only you know what you have to do!
