The Wish
The world is filled with hatred
Unloyalty and mistrust
Countries going to war
Children crying out in deadly lust
People killing each other
People dying in pain
So much violence
So many going insane
If only we were at peace
With happy, smiling faces
From people around the world
In happy, peaceful places
I have a wish
And some day I hope it comes true
It's a wish we all have
For friendship between me and you
