 THE INHERITANCE ( Rhyme)

~The Inheritance~
(Rhyme)

'Come in,' the frailed but still strong voice said,
From the somber room where he was left God forbid
To rest now by his servants and all his relatives indeed,
As they waited for him to die and meanwhile overbid
Each other all the time and far and wide
As who had done this, that and what for him by his bedside.
As all of them had dream and had long time ago decided
In their very cold hearts that his money shouldn't be divide
It equally as the old man had for many years had confided.
They did't want the court or lawyers to be their legal guide
No way they'd let the lawyers to take them for a ride
No matter what amount of money their greedy heads implied
The poor old man knew exactly what was going on inside
Their greedy hearts so he called them all aside
To tell them the truth that for years he's hid
There was no more great fortune, no money for them to slide
In any bank account and no more green from where to bleed
Anymore in their silly and emptied heads and that everything was done and said
Upon hearing this they all went shaking in shock and tongue-tied
They were all a sight! and they were all BUG-EYED!!
It seems that after all they'd been taken for a cruel joyride!
And by the old man that all of them has cleverly mislead
All, and of sudden they all started to laugh til' they were wild-eyed
They looked so undignified as they went downslide!
They've lost it all even before it was provided
And one by one in a twisted file they left the old man inside
Still laughing, his money was gone, it was time he got rid of the weed and Godspeed!
He had so much fun while it his money lasted,in the end he had won indeed!
He'd beat them all in the game, long time ago he's decided
And now he was taking it all with him beyond his graveside.
