Dear Everlasting Lord and Almighty God,
You've given us comfort with staff and rod;
Like a good shepherd who's tending sheep,
You watched over us as we lay and sleep;
Thank you for standing guard last night,
Waking up refreshed in the morning light;
Starting the dawning of a bright new day,
Mold our life the same as a potter's clay;
Shape us on how you desire us to be,
Heavenly Father give us your decree;
We are here to be your servant O Lord,
To do your work and follow your Word;
The only thing we ask that you be our light,
And shine it on destiny's path so bright;
Lead us O Lord into the future we pray,
So temptations do not make us go astray;
Also that my health stays good and strong,
Remaining with my family for very long;
And be able to come home tonight again,
In Jesus Christ's name I pray. A-men.
