 From my mind

The Hill

My legs are tired, my feet are sore
I can’t face walking up that hill no more
I could bet you a 50-euro note
I didn’t know on this holiday I would be a mountain goat

It’s not fair, what a shame
I’ve left my licence at home again
We tried by phone we’ve tried to download it by computer
There is no way I can ride That hill on a scooter

But wait a minute hip hip hooray
Our Michelle has saved the day
Now that frown has turned to a smile
Me and Diane can rest our legs
And travel up the hill in style.
