~ As  We  Walk ~
( Free Verse )

~O~

Within us, all is shown with kindness,
And hopes to catch a little scent,
As  memories of home unfold
And dusts my lovely thoughts, with frost...

In icy pause the winter's nights
With choices that sometimes were so wrought,
Too many words, that went unsaid
As I rush through another day

Before all we know, life had slipped away
We whine, we moan and cry in so much pain
A void so confused to fill us all
With ink of black and white of snow.

~O~
