Musings by The Poet Loriet

Giggles

There is no sound comparable
to the giggles of children.
The world can be crumbling,
the ozone depleting,
someone being murdered
every couple minutes,
terminal illnesses,
last breaths,
war and crime,
poverty and the
common cold...

Yet, they still
find a reason
for laughter,
a way to play,
a song to dance to.
