The skill within me is to no avail,
My words have power,
But life still brings me hell,
I am but one voice,
Who dares to speak to the world,
I make the choice,
To bring freedom to the boys and girls,
I am disliked by my own kind,
But I still love the brilliance of my mind,
Love the color of my skin,
The beauty within,
The passion in my soul,
A love that completes me and makes me whole,
Through out my life,
I must put up a fight,
