An Unopened Book

Indifferent World

I have spent some days wondering,
around this indifferent world.
Seeing the fears of every mothers child.
Tasted the sweetness of joy.
I've been lost in the sea of love.
I've felt the pain of a broken heart.
I've laughed in the face of difference.
I've walked on my own, standing strong.
I have stood on the side of truth.
I missed wishing on a falling star.
I've gazed in the reflecting waters.
I've walked in over grown fields of grass.
I've smelled so many different fragances,
each one so diachronic, so clear.
I've watched truth fall to through the floor,
and the lies hit the ceiling.
I have seen peoples eyes lie, oh they lie.
I have heeded to the cry of children,
watched them explore the truth.
How they learn, so fast, so much.
