An Unopened Book
Rhythm Of The Rain
The rhythm of rain,
beats down slowly,
gradually gets heavier.
The puddles gather,
making a tempting playground.
Running around turning and dancing.
The energy of the rain,
Makes you lose all reality.
Who can resist the puddles.
The rain hits your face,
refreshes your soul,
reminds yourself of freedom.
Freedom you had as a child.
No worries or cares.
The rain brings it out in you.
Reminds you, refreshes you.
The rhythm runs through you.
You recognize the beat;
embrace it.
