An Unopened Book

The Man Behind The Green Curtain

I am afraid,
that someday you will see the man behind
the green curtain.
That your might see through the smile,
see that I am just as lost as the rest.
My crystal ball doesn't see the future,
only what's on the other side of the room.
I can't predict where I am going to end up
or if it is even with you.
The world through my eyes although,
the world looks beautiful.
It may look completely different to you.
The things that make me laugh,
may find no amusment to you.
The roses I think are beautiful
you may hate because of the thorn.
So I am afraid that the difference between,
you and me.
Maybe to different for you,
you might not understand.
