An Unopened Book
When We Were Together
When we were together,
for a short period of time.
My memory tried to trace your face.
But as the days turned into months,
the drawing begins to fade.
I wanted to keep it fresh,
so I could recall it anytime.
But it seems time has taken effect.
I can vaguely see your smile.
And I hardly can recall your voice.
I have trouble seeing your face in my dreams,
it was once so easy and so clear.
I realize your image is bound to,
Disappear.
I wish I could retrace it,
and retake the picture.
But only heaven knows.
